With a background in tourism management and extensive experience in the public sector, I have always been driven by a desire to serve and uplift communities. Over the years, I have held various leadership roles that allowed me to work closely with diverse groups, understanding their challenges and helping them navigate complex systems. But one challenge consistently stood out to me: the lack of access to digital literacy and technology skills in underserved communities.

As I advanced in my career, earning my BTech Degree in Tourism Management and pursuing an MBA specializing in digital marketing, I became acutely aware of the growing digital divide. I saw how technology was transforming industries and creating new opportunities, but also how it was leaving many behind, particularly in the communities I cared about the most. This realization was a turning point for me. I knew that to truly make a difference, I needed to focus on equipping young people with the digital skills necessary to thrive in today’s rapidly changing world. That’s why I founded ULwazi Knowledge Foundation.

At ULwazi, we provide hands-on digital literacy programs tailored to the unique needs of underserved communities. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by empowering students with the knowledge and confidence to excel in the digital age. Whether it’s through coding workshops, AI sessions, or basic computer skills training, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background.
